Alexandra Fortin is a tax lawyer specializing in Canadian and international taxation. With over twenty years of experience, she has held leadership positions in various law and accounting firms, focusing on corporate tax issues, international expansion, and strategic tax planning.

With her international expertise, Alexandra assists her clients in navigating the complexities of international tax regulations. She specializes in analyzing and interpreting the tax laws of different countries, providing tailored solutions to optimize the tax management of businesses operating internationally. By clarifying the challenges related to cross-border tax structures and guiding clients through multiple tax regimes, she enables them to comply with tax obligations while minimizing risks and maximizing opportunities for tax efficiency.

Alexandra holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Laval University and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in taxation from HEC Montreal. She is a member of the Bar of Quebec and has been involved in academia since 2011 as a lecturer in the Master’s program in taxation at the University of Sherbrooke. She has also conducted numerous training sessions for employees of both the Quebec Revenue Agency and the Canada Revenue Agency.

Alexandra also has considerable experience in writing articles and presenting at conferences, notably for the Association for Tax and Financial Planning (APFF), where she shares her knowledge on international tax issues and the complex developments in the field.
